To explain the picture, a longtime neighbor made that for a party to describe me. I'd say it's pretty accurate! The heart behind Sit Stay Play is my former dog, Reggie. Watching him over the years and seeing his love for life and people instilled in me a love for dogs so deep it literally changed me. In his later years he developed hip dysplasia and needed constant care. At the time, we had also adopted Grace from the local shelter AND had Phineas (our shih tzu). With Reggie's ailments and Grace's anxiety the thought of leaving town felt impossible. With my new found passion for all things dogs I decided I wanted to help. Help families who for whatever reason didn't want to leave their fur babies behind or felt they couldn't. For this reason, I come to you and your pets. They stay safe and comfortable in their own home, and you get to relax knowing they are in great hands.

I began this journey of caring for dogs over 5 years ago when my husband and I relocated to Georgia. I left my job with the state of NC and pursued my passion. Now that we have moved back to NC to the Wilson area I'm in search of my new pack! Whether it's morning breakfast with tail wags, afternoon walks under the Carolina sun, or a cozy bedtime tuck-in, I treat every pet like my own. These pups are not treated like clients but family in every way. I'm dedicated to providing reliable, compassionate care that gives you peace of mind.
